Meet the Owners
We are Jen & Megan!
Thank you for joining us and supporting us on this amazing adventure that is Threads & Co!
JEN
Hi there! My name is Jen. I am from Minnesota and have spent my entire life here (besides all the traveling that I love to do). I went to Saint Cloud State University and then attended Law School at William Mitchell College of Law. I am currently a licensed attorney, Development expert and the new(ish) co-owner this boutique.
Along with being a new boutique owner, I am am a wife and mother. I live in Lakeville with my husband, three girls and golden retriever puppy - we are in a constant state of transport between hockey, dance, soccer, tennis and all the other fun kid activities. I love drinks on the porch with friends, Tim Howe live music, french fries and any clothing item that comes in black!
Megan and I launched Threads & Co in November of 2019 - right before the holidays which was quickly followed up with CoVid. Needless to say everything we envisioned for this business has changed more than once over the last year, but we are so excited to have weathered the storm and still have all our amazing customers. We want to be our customers one stop shop, comfies, work clothes, zoom meeting tops and more! We have looked to our customers to be our sounding board and create what Threads is today - and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out!
MEGAN
Hi! I'm Megan. I went to college at the University of Washington and would move back tomorrow if my family would come with me! I have spent the last 13 years in the non-profit sector but have always had a passion to own my own business-insert Threads!
I am a wife to one of my favorite people and we have two little humans. When not working you can find us outside- boating, gardening, hiking, skiing, enjoying a fire or a sauna. We work hard and play hard.
Threads was an idea Jen and I had a few years back when thinking about "what we really want to do in life". We wanted something that was our own. Something that would allow us to be challenged yet creative. Something that if done right would fulfill our innate need to work and provide for our families while also offering a balance that would allow us time with our families and be able to do more of the things we wanted to do. While COVID has changed our original plan we are taking it day by day and thrilled you are along for the ride!
